We are Clay County’s longest running 24hr facility. Opened in 2013 we have been this community’s premier fitness and wellness facility. Our group fitness classes are setup for everyone to participate regardless of your skill level. We are a 24 hr facility that offers open gym, group classes and one on one personal training.

Our nutritional coaching comes with a level of personal attention not seen in the fitness space. Whether you want to do a 6 week kickstart or you want our premium coaching package, you will be assigned an accountability coach to watch over every aspect of your fitness journey. We have spent years working with thousands of clients both in person and virtually to help them lose weight, shred body fat, build lean muscle, and get into the best shape of their life.

Our goal is long term, sustainable health for all our clients. Our belief is that only through long term planning and education can someone remain healthy for the rest of their life and live a quality of life they want.

Bill has been coaching since 2013, and was SMFI first head trainer. He heads up Beastmode Barbell & Performance which serves as the companies youth and barbell club. Since starting at Steel Mill he has used his knowledge to grow the company and serve the community.

Jalese is a mom of 3 that started training in 2016 while going to EMT school and she fell in love with the methodology and community of functional fitness and knew she wanted to coach and help people become their best self! She joined steel mill in 2019 and has been coaching here since 2022.

Coach Jalese keeps class fun and lighthearted. She prioritizes form and her encouragement motivates everyone to challenge themselves, helping everyone reach their goals and get results!
